Advanced Training: Airline Flight Crew Techniques and Procedures CRJ-200
Topics included: turbojet aircraft systems; advanced avionics and flight management systems; transport aircraft flight techniques in difficult operational conditions; and, stall and upset recognition and recovery in transport category aircraft. Crew resource management, aeronautical decision making, and professionalism were emphasized. 55.3 hours of ground instruction and 21.2 hours of flight time.

Ensure satisfactory progress throughout the course. Responsible for accurately maintaining all appropriate records including student training records, student logbooks, and computer records.

Prepared paperwork for the proper dispatching of aircraft. Completed invoices for the billing of aircraft and instructor time. Organized and filed all paperwork for Flight School. Prepared and fueled aircraft before use.
6/2017 and 6/2018 Air Race Classic – National Competition for Female Pilots
MTSU’s first team to complete the Race 6/2017, and competed again 6/2018. Demonstrated planning, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills. Developed pilot skills through real-world pilotage facing extreme stress, dangerous weather, last minute race changes, and cockpit teamwork to achieve the best score. Learned new aspects of flying and FAA regulations that were beyond the theories and practical knowledge taught in the classroom.
